Question: How does shipping work?
Answer: The monster sak is shipped within 1-3 business days of order placement and takes 2-5 business days to show up at your door depending on where you live.  We ship 99% of our orders by the next business day, but during the Christmas holidays, it might take an additional day or two to make and ship your order, because we experience a crazy rush on our products. Keep in mind we are closed Sundays. Any canceled orders or returns after shipments have been made will be responsible for all fees associated with the Fedex shipping charges and nonrefundable (in some cases Fedex charges more than our flat rate shipping fees).

Question: Where do you ship to?
Answer: Only within the 48 contiguous states…special arrangements are possible to other states/countries.  Email [email protected] to find out more.

Question:: Can I arrange to pick it up myself and save on shipping?
Answer: Yeap!  Just call 409-755-4540 for more info.

Question: How big is the monster sak when purchased?
Answer: All monster saks are shrunken down to a little smaller than 1/3 the normal size for shipping and transporting.  They fit easily into small cars, so don’t worry about renting a moving truck or anything.  After opening your sak, it will expand back to 80 or 90% within a few minutes of light fluffing and will reach 100% within a few days of opening it.

Question: Is there any kind of guarantee?
Answer: Of course!  If there is a defect in the manufacturing during the first 12 months we will fix it or exchange it for free.

Question: I’m a little wary of your prices…what’s the catch?
Answer: There is no catch.  We confidently stand behind our claim to have what is absolutely the most comfortable furniture bag out there and would be willing to compare bags side by side, anytime, with any company.  You just need to know that other companies are spending much less on inferior quality materials and selling them to customers with anywhere from a 500%-1000% markup on them.  If that’s what you want, by all means help them retire early while you keep working.

Question: What’s the difference between microsuede and microplush?
Answer: Microsuede is probably the most popular material in the world of furniture, because it looks good, it’s comfortable, it’s durable, and it spot cleans very easily.  Microplush is amazingly comfortable.  While it looks kinda like the texture of a towell, it is much softer.  Microsuede tends to be more accident friendly…for example: if you’re worried about pet claws or liquid spills, the microsuede is better to have.  If you value luxurious comfort, the microplush might be the better option.

Question: Will a Monster Sak go flat or need to be refilled?
Answer: Nope!  Bean bags are known for their styrofoam pellots that go flat and the expensive/messy experience it is to refill them every year or two.  Cloud-Stuff filler will always fluff back up…just remember that optimal comfort is achieved by refluffing the Monster Sak at least every other time you sit on it.

Question: What are the size differences?
Answer: The dimensions are under the product description of each size bag on the SHOP page.  Basically, the size 6 bag is almost twice as big as the size 5, and the size 8 bag is almost twice as big as the size 6.  The size 8 is about as long as a full size couch and 1.5 to 2 times as wide.  The size 6 is about the size of a loveseat, and the size 5 is about 35-40% smaller than the size 6.

Question: What is your return policy?
Answer: An unopened bag can be returned within 2 weeks for a refund minus a 10% restocking fee.  While we fully guarantee our product, we can’t accept returns after they’ve been used.  Home odors and the unknown of what might get into the foam prevents us from reselling a returned product.   Some customers ask if they can return a cover if they use it for a while and decide they don’t like the color.  Again, if it’s used, we can’t accept it, but if you don’t put it on your insert, you are more than welcome to exchange it within 2 weeks from the date of purchase. Otherwise, it’s kind of like used sheets or driving a new car off the lot in that once it’s used, you own it.

Question: How do I know which size to get?
Answer: While you can fit several people on any size bag, what really matters is how big the people sitting on it are and how close they want to be to each other.  In general, most customers buy a size 5 for one adult or a couple of kids.  They’ll buy a size 6 if they want something big enough for two adults to lay down and cuddle on.  The size 8 is for those who want to fit a couple adults and maybe a couple of kids at the same time.  The size 6 is our most popular seller (tan and black being the most popular colors), but everybody loves the size 8…only question is – do you have the room for it?  Please see the measurements as all of this information is only relative and approximate to comparisons.  Measuring it out on your floor space is the best way to know what size will work for you.

Question: What is the big difference between you and Lovesac?
Answer: Two differences: 1) Shape – Monster Saks are more oval shaped while Lovesacs are more round. 2) Filler Material – Lovesac uses sofa scrap that they call Durafoam (ironic that the Latin “dura” is usually translated as “hard” in English).  Monster Sak uses a higher density/more expensive mattress foam and we mix it with cotton.  Our filler is softer, less lumpy, and slightly lighter, but we stuff our bags with more filler, so the weights are about the same.  As far as size goes, our size 8 bag is about 15-20% bigger than the 8 Lovesac, our size 6 is about the same size as the 6 Lovesac, and our size 5 is about 15-20% smaller than the 5 Lovesac.  Oh, and our prices our about 66-75% LESS!!!!!!
